About Hopfrogs Dance School

Our Credentials

All our teachers are professionally qualified dance teachers, skilled and experienced.

It’s our pleasure and we LOVE teaching people how to dance!  We take great pride in helping everyone to enjoy dancing.  Just ask anyone who already comes to one of our dance classes -I'm sure they'll tell you we have an easy-going way of teaching, relaxed atmosphere in which to learn your new skills but we also make it fun as well.

Our passion is dancing!

Dancing IS our passion and our enjoyment comes across in all that we do within the dancing world.  We can help you get started on your dancing journey – starting with the basics – then watching your confidence and skills grow.

We are a very active dance school "socially" speaking in as much as there's usually something going on most weeks and if we're going then we're more than happy to take you along with us!

We regularly take a crowd with us from all our classes to various local events including Big Band Dance Nights, nights out dancing to live Rock ‘n’ Roll bands and going away to weekend events.  We even put on "Strictly Back To The 50's" last year for BBC Children in Need and raised in excess of £4500 which was just awesome in every way. Check out our evening of fame with us all dancing through the night and featuring regularly on BBC East Midlands.

We don't put any pressure on our dancers to study routines for exams, medal tests or competitions. You're welcome to discuss these options with us, however, our key goal is to get everyone dancing and enjoying this very sociable activity.

We love it when folks just come through our doors and start to ENJOY dancing.  You'd be amazed how quickly you get the bug and look forward to coming back for more!

Dancing is a brilliant way of keeping active, it can help improve your stamina and fitness levels and its exceptionally sociable!  It's up to you as to how much you want to get involved in the social side of dancing, beyond attending classes.

Learning to dance can be great fun, is an easy way of keeping fit and you make new friends along the way.

All we ask of you is that you enjoy your dancing journey!

Thanks, Heather
