We run weekly classes covering Ballroom and Latin American dances, check out our Classes page and download current flyers, here.

We tend to focus on a couple of dances for 8-12 week periods to give everyone the chance to have time to learn more than just the basics – but at a pace to suit everyone – resulting (hopefully!) in a nice variety of figures and moves to get you around the dance floor when you’re out socially dancing.

Tuesday evenings begin with the Waltz, Quickstep.  We've been working on Rumba, Foxtrot and will shortly be introducing  Argentine Tango.

Thursday evenings mix up the Ballroom styles of Waltz, Quickstep, Tango and Foxtrot with Rumba and Cha Cha Cha.

You can come and join us at any time, we don’t run “courses” on these nights but will split the class into beginners and advanced moves if we need to.  That way you won’t feel out of your depth and we’ll make sure you go at your pace too, so there’s no pressure to keep up with everyone else!

Taster Sessions and Workshops

We plan to introduce Argentine Tango in February 2016 as part of our Tuesday night Ballroom class.  We will then plan a half day and a full day Argentine Tango workshop for sometime in April and September - come back soon for more details!

We've started to run a monthly Saturday afternoon "Ballroom Basics " Workshops focussing on one dance at a time.  Every Second Saturday at Ilkeston we are running through Ballroom dances, one at a time.  We begin with Foxtrot in March 2016 and, by popular demand(!), will host a Foxtrot workshop every other month.....well it is one of the hardest dances to master so we can understand you all asking for it!
