If you haven't been to any of our dance classes or events, then here are some comments we've had from past and present dancers. It gives you an idea of how we structure our tuition and what our existing dancers think to the way we run things around here.
These comments give you an honest feel for how much fun we have, how we teach and what a great dancing social life we create ....and then get everyone involved just a little bit more by coming out with us to social events - which we love to do.
So, whether you are already on your dancing journey with us, have been to one of our workshops or have just joined us, we'd love to hear what you think about our classes and teachers.

Lynn 14 April, 2017 Hopfrogs is a very friendly and welcoming dance school. Heather, Jayne and Lesley are professional, enthusiastic and patient and always willing to help out if we are struggling with the new steps. Their recent Ballroom Jive workshop was lovely. So much energy and enthusiasm and we even learned a new dance! Thanks Heather.
John wharton 02 October, 2016 I always wanted to learn to jive and this place is the tops. I have been to others but this is the best by far full of happy friendly people and Heather is so so good. She really puts you at ease shows you the moves at a steady pace and is always available to help put you right. What makes it so easy is she will take both male and female steps to help and will take time to dance with you. I cannot speak highly enough of her as she is at the centre of everything that is good about Hopfrogs.
Rob 02 February, 2016 If you've found this website then you've found the answer to your question as Heather and her team at Hopfrogs are without question - the best teachers around! They're always friendly, full of useful tips, hints and how to get around the dance floor with much more ease and we have lots of fun and laughter. You don't actually realise just how much they're teaching you - and you're actually learning - until you go out dancing and see just what other's aren't able to do! More importantly, they teach you at your own pace so there's no pressure to keep up with everyone else. That means everyone is welcome and able to join in. I have no hesitation in recommending you check these guys out as they'll definitely make a difference to your life - for the better!! Just wanted to say thanks, Heather & the Hoppin' Hopfrogs team
Laura 28 January, 2016 I have danced at lots of dance school in Nottingham which have been very good, but none of them are a patch on Heather. She knows everyone's name, greets you with a friendly smile (& hug!) and it's not long before you join in with all the socials and other events. I could go on and on about how much I love Hopfrogs (and I'm difficult to please!) but the best way to really find out is to come along and find out for yourself!
Brett 05 August, 2015 Have always found HopFrogs Dance School to be friendly warm and welcoming. They take a great methodical approach with flexibility to identify and help individuals and couples every step of the way at just the right pace whilst having fun. Highly recommended to anyone thinking about learning to dance or wanting to improve. I would encourage anyone to give it a go.
Sue Humphrey 18 July, 2015 We've been coming to Heather and Lesley's classes for a some time now. We appreciate the way we learn new moves here that we can take to other dances (salsa, bizarre but somehow it works!). I love that Heather welcomes beginners to any class and quickly makes them feel at home with the basic steps so by the end of the session they feel part of the gang and come back the following week to learn more... and more advanced people can turn up and just join in and also feel welcomed. Thank you, great classes!

Renata 28 April, 2015 After attending one of the foxtrot and Argentine tango classes as a one off, I now find myself going every week! I had never danced before and although there are people at different levels, everyone is catered for. I now love dancing so much, my husband to be and myself have enlisted Heather to teach us a special first dance at our Wedding next month. Both Heather and Lesley have a gifted way of teaching and make the lessons extremely enjoyable, I would highly recommend!
Jez Smith 16 April, 2015 We did a Rock n Roll class run by Heather at Bakewell Day Of Dance and enjoyed it so much we now go to her classes, and socials. I can only say how great it is to learn so much and have fun at the same time with such a friendly group of people.

Claire Kirton Wood 26 March, 2015 Heather and her team are absolute professionals , but who else welcomes newcomers with such genuine pleasure and a big smile. You learn the correct way to dance which is really important but with humour and a straightforward approach. BEST dance teachers I've ever had no doubt!!
